About the Lab

How Does the Space Work?

Fab Lab Benfica is the digital fabrication laboratory of the School of Education at the Polytechnic University of Lisbon. It operates in two modes: as a pedagogical infrastructure for project-based courses, and as an open space for the IPL academic community for research, development, cultural, and individual projects.

How to Participate?

We welcome collaborations from students, faculty, researchers, and external partners. If you have a project requiring digital fabrication, or if you wish to contribute as a volunteer to equipment maintenance and operation, get in touch with us.
