Fab Lab Benfica is the digital fabrication laboratory of the School of Education at the Polytechnic University of Lisbon (IPL), located in the vibrant neighborhood of Benfica. We are part of the global Fab Lab Network, a community of fabrication laboratories that provide access to tools and knowledge for digital design and fabrication.
Our mission is to support both the IPL community and external partners through diverse institutional collaborations. We provide essential infrastructure for pedagogical and research activities across IPL, while supporting our researchers' participation in national and international projects. As Portugal's only active Fab Academy node, we deliver this prestigious training program to makers, students, entrepreneurs, and researchers.
